What you see
The Passion play in the streets of Adeje: Roman soldiers in golden armour, a centurion on horseback, extras in costume and the procession.
Music only, no speech
The brief
An event that happens once a year and can't be repeated: around two hundred performers in the streets of Adeje, at noon on Good Friday. It had to be told vertically, for people watching on their phones.
How we filmed it
Handheld camera in the crowd, close to the performers, and a telephoto lens to set them apart from the audience: the soldiers in golden armour, the centurion on horseback, faces in profile. Under the midday sun, rich colours: reds, golds, purples. Nothing stops for us: it's up to us to be in the right place.

The result
Shot at noon, ready the same evening: a minute and a half of vertical video, while people were still talking about the Pasión.
